About Dr. KC dall'Amore
My relationship with Chinese medicine began long before I entered a classroom. My family is from Taiwan, where Chinese medicine was simply part of everyday life rather than an alternative to healthcare. Healing traditions were woven into family conversations, and my uncle became well known in Taipei for his work with Qi Gong. Although those experiences shaped my appreciation for Chinese medicine from an early age, my own journey into the profession followed an unexpected path.
Before becoming an acupuncturist, I earned a degree in International Business and Economics and spent years working in business, accounting, and healthcare regulation. Those experiences taught me to think analytically, ask thoughtful questions, and look for patterns within complex systems. Today, they continue to influence the way I practice medicine.
I later earned both a Master of Acupuncture and a Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University. During my training, I had the opportunity to practice in a wide variety of settings, including hospital-based integrative medicine, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic recovery, sports medicine, women's health, community clinics, senior care, and hospice. Those experiences reinforced my belief that excellent care comes from understanding the whole person rather than focusing only on isolated symptoms.
My clinical interests include pain management, headaches and migraines, sports medicine, women's health, fertility, pregnancy support, neurological conditions, and Chinese herbal medicine. Whether someone is recovering from an injury, navigating hormonal changes, living with chronic pain, or simply trying to feel like themselves again, I enjoy helping patients understand what their bodies are communicating and developing a treatment plan that reflects their unique situation.
I believe the best medicine begins with listening. Every person brings a different history, lifestyle, physiology, and set of goals. Rather than applying the same treatment to everyone with the same diagnosis, I look for the patterns that make each person's experience unique. That approach allows treatment to be individualized, thoughtful, and responsive as healing unfolds.
My practice blends the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern understanding of anatomy, physiology, movement, and pain science. Depending on each patient's needs, treatment may include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, myofascial techniques, cupping, Gua Sha, and lifestyle recommendations designed to support lasting health.
Above all, I believe healthcare should feel both clinically excellent and deeply human. It is a privilege to be invited into someone's healing journey, and I strive to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
I look forward to meeting you.
